TYPES OF SPANISH ALMONDS<\/span><\/h1>\n

Spain is one of the main almond producers in the world and, at the same time, one of the top importers. Spanish production is concentrated in the areas of the Mediterranean, with Andalusia being the leading region. Spanish almonds are very much in demand worldwide because of their high quality, taste and nutritional value. Importaco processes the most important Spanish almond varieties. At the same time, through the companies Importaco Ingredients and Importaco Terra, Importaco is involved throughout the life cycle of the almonds, from the field to the customer, contributing all of its know-how to the process. Whole shelled Spanish almonds are classified by their variety, their size in millimetres and their quality (chipped, broken, other defects, etc.).<\/p>\n
